What We Believe
Death shouldn’t be so taboo. When we make space for honest conversations about death, we give people more agency, understanding, and ways to navigate loss on their own terms. Our goal at Tigram Strategies is to help you support your community in feeling less alone and more prepared to navigate death and dying.
Tigram Strategies founder Rebecca Missel is an exuberant and purposeful community builder as well as a Certified Grief and Bereavement Specialist. She specializes in building human-centered systems of care, community connection, and support around grief, loss, and life transitions.

Projects
Shiva Circle
Partnered with Shomer Collective to design and scale Shiva Circle, a community-supported grief initiative that trained 450 people in the first year, growing participation by 375%.
Ives Consulting
Co-led a needs assessment project for a community experiencing demographic shifts, designing strategic recommendations and an implementation roadmap.
Recustom: Life’s Big Moments
Built the strategy and wrote the learning materials for Recustom’s End of Life Content Hub, giving people clear, accessible answers to questions about death, dying and grief.
Sabbath Queen
Leveraged partnerships across 10 cities, and supervised team of outreach professionals, resulting in sold out screenings for this award-winning documentary.
